Amazon Whisperer

Amazon Whisperer

With my business, the revenue drivers are the consumers that pay for the clothing. The product offering that I believe will be next is new styles of shirts and hats. Those styles will come with time after much feedback and review from customers. Establishing a good clothing-line that has support from big names in the EDM industry creates a bond with customers that are fans of those names. Costs of the clothing vary based on the demand for certain styles.

When looking on Amazon to find a similar product, I found this as a perfect example. Its your average long-sleeve tee with a logo of a superstar DJ-duo on it. Customers who are fans pay for this clothing to support Diplo and Skrillex (JackÜ). Customer reviews for this product are all great, including comments on how they love the design and the music that the duo produces. Design changes I'd make to the product is adding more black color to it, as from being in the industry you see that black is the favored color for clothing when being backstage. This would be a good addition to my product because its something that millions of people all over the world want.

  1. Hi Joey,

I was surprised to see some of the guest entrepreneurs’ we’ve seen in this class be so successful with t-shirts, hats, etc. so I think offering products that will be the next style of shirts and hats will prove to be a successful business model. I believe people will always be looking for a way to display their support for someone or something, and shirts and hats are a great resource in accomplishing that task. If you decide to move forward with your plan, it will be interesting to see what additions you may add to your clothing line.

  2. Hi Joey!

I'm in the business of making clothes myself. My particular brand is CoiledCrown (www.CoiledCrown.com). My market is much different from yours though. I think we're in a good area. Clothes are things that people are always going to want. People are always looking for new styles and to upgrade their wardrobes every so often. Is there a particular market you're going after? Or is it just men in general? You sound like your designs would do pretty well!
